Founder/CEO
Jesse Rudy
Jesse Rudy is the Founder and CEO of Redeem International, a Christian faith-based nonprofit dedicated to protecting some of the world’s most vulnerable widows and orphans from violent abuse and exploitation. Under Jesse’s leadership, Redeem International has launched impactful programs aimed at safeguarding these women and children in Uganda, where one in three widows faces the threat of losing their home and land to predatory land theft.
With a background as an attorney, Jesse has extensive experience in justice work. Before founding Redeem International in 2020, he served for twelve years with International Justice Mission, where he led teams in Sri Lanka, Uganda and the Philippines and was a key member of its global leadership team. His expertise informs Redeem’s mission, which deploys teams of local justice professionals to intervene on behalf of victims, partnering with local authorities to restore families to their homes and prosecute their abusers, ultimately creating a powerful deterrent effect that protects entire communities.
Jesse holds a BS in Pre-Law from John Brown University and a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law. He resides just outside of Washington, DC, with his wife, Amy, and their three children.

Country Director
Juliet Musoke
Juliet Musoke is an accomplished attorney and member of the Ugandan Bar with well over a decade of experience protecting widows and orphans from violence in Uganda. She joined International Justice Mission (IJM) as a casework attorney, representing widows and orphans who had been subjected to the violence of predatory land theft. Juliet was promoted to Director of Legal and later to Director of Structural Transformation – designing and leading IJM’s efforts to build capacity into Uganda’s public justice system. Juliet joined Redeem in 2020 to manage all our Uganda operations.

Beatrice Kibbedi
Beatrice Kibbedi is a certified public accountant in Uganda with 15 years experience in finance and administration, including roles at Willow International and IJM. She earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business Administration from Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda. Beatrice joined Redeem in 2022 to manage financial accounting and reporting for all our Uganda operations.

Director of Programs
Innocent Mudebo
Innocent Mudebo’s experience is drawn from eight years of work in the Ugandan Police Force and seven at International Justice Mission. Trained as a social worker, Innocent decided to joining the UPF to protect the vulnerable. Upon completion of his Police training, Innocent deployed with the Child and Family Protection Unit before joining the Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID). Innocent later joined IJM as an Investigator before being promoted to Director of Investigations and invited to lead IJM’s project to combat violence against women and children in Fort Portal, Uganda. Innocent joined Redeem in July 2021 to lead the Wakiso intervention team. In 2023, Innocent was promoted to Director of Programs.

Greg Tarrant
Greg Tarrant has over 17 years of international business and development experience. Prior to Redeem, Greg served with IJM for twelve years, including as a Field Office Director in Bolivia and Kenya, and Vice President for Financial Planning at the IJM corporate headquarters. Greg earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from John Brown University and a MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management. Greg joined Redeem in 2022 to lead our global programmatic and support functions.

Jeff Atherstone
Jeff Atherstone is the Founding President of Africa Renewal University in Uganda, where he served for 10 years. He is also the former Director of Donor Ministries at The Gospel Coalition, and has a decade of pastoral ministry experience. He earned a Masters of Divinity and a Bachelor’s degree in Theology. Jeff joined Redeem in 2023 to further our goal of building a broad and diverse community of dedicated supporters of our mission.

Monitoring & Evaluation Manager
Ritah Namaalwa
Ritah Namaalwa is an experienced professional in the field of monitoring and evaluation. Before joining Redeem, Ritah spent ten years working in public health projects across Uganda, including those funded by the CDC and NIH. On these projects, she coordinated the development and implementation of public health measurement tools, and disseminated the results to key stakeholders. She holds a BS in statistics from Makerere University and a post-graduate diploma in monitoring and evaluation from Uganda Leadership Institute. Ritah joined Redeem in December 2022 to lead our monitoring and evaluation efforts across our project areas, measuring the deterrent impact of our intervention teams on victimization rates of widows and orphans.

Jessica Kyle has a decade of experience in designing and managing international development programs, largely to address violence affecting women and children across Africa. Prior to joining Redeem, Jessica worked in US foreign policy, federal law enforcement, and in the international nonprofit sector. She served for nine years with International Justice Mission where she managed IJM’s Africa program portfolio, including the evaluation of IJM’s initial land theft project in Uganda, and led IJM’s expansion efforts in Bangladesh. Jessica holds a MA from the University of Kentucky and a BA from the College of William and Mary in international affairs. She joined Redeem in October 2023 to lead our program quality, evaluation, and expansion efforts.
